Designed for experienced Approved Supervisors, this course is required of Approved Supervisors (starting with those scheduled to renew in 2006) at the time they renew their five-year designation as an Approved Supervisor. The course must have been taken in the five years immediately prior to the renewal. This course is a five-hour didactic/interactional presentation which meets the five learning objectives as designated by the AAMFT.
The course covers current supervision literature, ethical and legal issues, supervision contracts, cultural, gender and socioeconomic issues.
