Individual and/or paired supervision of family and couple therapy to develop skills and meet MFT state licensure requirements.
This program, offering paired or individual supervision by AAMFT-approved supervisors and/or licensed marriage and family therapists and licensed psychologists, is open to those professionals wanting family or couple therapy supervision as well as to graduates of our Extern Program, Intensive Program or Summer Practicum. Supervision methods include videotape or audiotape supervision, one-way mirror case consultation, and/or case discussion. Times for supervision are arranged at trainees’ convenience. Trainees discuss their cases or review their videotapes to highlight assessment/treatment issues and therapists’ use of self.
