To evolve a model of supervision or to become an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor. The Training Center offers several programs so that the trainee can acquire knowledge regarding the issues, methods and processes of supervision.
Four-Day Supervision Course, June 1-4, 2010, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm., $800
This 30-hour, 4-day course in Marriage and Family Therapy Supervision is AAMFT-approved and meets the seven learning objectives designated by the AAMFT Committee on Supervision. If AAMFT-approved supervisory status is desired, the trainee must request appropriate forms from AAMFT, file an Intention to Train letter with AAMFT, and complete writing requirements.
Supervisor Mentoring:
36 hours of AAMFT-approved supervision by senior faculty will be provided to individuals and/or dyads within a 9-month to 2-year frame.
AAMFT-APPROVED SUPERVISOR ALERT
By January 2010 MFT’s seeking licensure must have half of the required 3,600 experience hours supervised by someone who is both an AAMFT-Approved
Supervisor AND who is also a Pennsylvania licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
